Just when you thought West Coast hardcore had gone soft, San Diego‘s NO INNOCENT VICTIM storms out of the gate with their Victory Records debut called "FLESH AND BLOOD".
NO INNOCENT VICTIM have been assaulting the hardcore scene since 1992. Their abrasive old school meets new school metal tinged hardcore has been compared to the likes of Agnostic Front, Hatebreed and Sick Of It All.
The success of their previous two releases on Rescue Records "Strength" (1995) and "No Compromise" (1997) proved the band is a force to be recognized. Tolerance records in Europe has also released a self titled CD by the band which features songs from the two Rescue Records releases to ever increase awareness about NO INNOCENT VICTIM globally.
The band are no strangers to touring. The band has hit North America six times over the years. The band has shared the stage with every big name of hardcore that comes to mind. Most notably is Hatebreed, All Out War, Agnostic Front and Madball. The band will be hitting the road in the Spring of 1999 to begin a promotional tour of this release.
As Corey states, "we want to bring Victory back hard to the West Coast, earning the respect." And as quoted from Smash magazine, "NIV is one of the best hardcore bands around." So brace yourself as NO INNOCENT VICTIM make their trek through 1999.
