SCHIZMA is one of the longest running and most popular, also internationally, Polish hard core bands.

The band was formed in 1990 in the city of Bydgoszcz. During the 14 years of the bands existence the band went through a lot of line-up changes, however, since the beginning until today it has been true to the non-conformist sound of hard core and to the ethics of independence.

The bands output includes 7 full length albums and many minor releases, however, SCHIZMAs most vital field of activity are their extremely energetic live show, attracting crowds of devoted hard core fanatics. Apart from having toured all of Poland many times, the band paid frequent visits to Germany and France, played the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, and former Yugoslavia.

SCHIZMAs most exotic trip so far was the visit at Koreas International Busan Rock Festival In 2002, where the band played in front of a crowd of 20,000 alongside such bands as CANNIBAL CORPSE and KREATOR.

The year 2006 sees the band busier than ever with the release of a split EP with the French ghetto-metal masters LESPRIT DU CLAN as well as the new full length provokingly titled Hardcore Enemies. HARDCORE ENEMIES European release on Mad Mob Records March 2007.
