Facedown began in September of 1995 and made a name for themselves in Europe on a 2 month tour in 1997, and also in southern US. The band is based out of the Monmouth County area, of New Jersey. Facedown's sound is heavy with thrashing guitar riffs that tend to play on the down beat, making them sound off time. It suddenly turns to choruses with a hook that can turn heads.
