WITH ONE INTENT "Leaving it all behind" (mcd)
WITH ONE INTENT formed in November of 1996. After only one month of rehearsals, the band went into the studio and recorded their first demo, entitled 'Mass. Hardcore'. This was quickly followed up with a new recording in the Summer of 1997, entitled 'Complete failure'. The 'Complete failure' demo earned the band the recognition they have come to enjoy to date. This demo showed the band as a force to be reckoned with on the hardcore scene and received praise from the US, Europe and Japan. The four songs on the demo showed a progression to a much heavier style. After the release of 'Complete failure', With One Intent began to play more shows in New England and the surrounding States including New York and Pennsylvania. In January of 1998, the band returned to the studio to record 'Leaving it all behind', their debut EP on RPP. This effort contains 6 new recordings and promises to catapult the band to the next level of notoriety in the hardcore community. The band is also featured on a split 7" on Back Ta Basics Records (run by Rick Ta Life) with Boston's REACH THE SKY and compilations on Last Word Records from Syracuse, NY with Faction Zero, Cipher, Neck and others and on Lost Disciple Record's upcoming Boston hardcore compilation.

SOLID "Total rush" (cd)
Solid was originally formed in december 1994, out of the ashes of the great band SPIRIT OF YOUTH. After several demos and a MCD on Rpp (sadness of mankind" , A full cd came out in october 97 : "darkside moments" on the big label DIEHARD Records ( disrespect,2ton predator...). the sound evolved more towards the swedish deathmetal style as the H8000 scene (where Solid's root ly) overwhelmingly got influenced by bands and music from this type of metal.
Total rush = 10 songs with 5 previously unreleased and 5 bonus tracks taken from the 1996 out of stock MCD "sadness of mankind".
The new 5 songs are a great mix between NY Hardcore and some stoner rock influences.

INHUMAN "Black reign" (mcd)
NY's Inhuman have decided to release their most recent recordings on cd, on Belgian's RPP.
The record came out yesterday and contains 5 new songs + 2 old ones (recorded live at CBGB's) of dark and intense Hardcore/Punk from beneath the streets of Brooklyn.
Layout & production are awesome. I'm pretty sure some songs featured on this record will become classic tunes really soon.
You can order the cd direct from RPP for 10

TOGETHER WE FALL "Drowned" (cd)
TOGETHER WE FALL
BIOGRAPHY :
TOGETHER WE FALL was formed in the Summer of 1999 by a group of musicians whose intent was to create a band combining the rage and emotion of old-school hardcore/punk with the musical intensity of modern hardcore. Upon their formation, the band quickly released their first cd and distributed over 900 copies in six weeks, which led to a recording contract with RPP records/Belgium. The group immediately entered the studio to record their cd for RPP, and emerged with a new 8 song release, "Drowned". "Drowned" pays respect to the band's old-school roots while maintaining a brutal modern hardcore approach. Fans around the world will surely appreciate the Together We Fall sound and propel the band to the upper echelon of the international hardcore scene. The band is currently arranging American tour dates to support their new CD, to be followed, hopefully later in the year, by extensive overseas touring.
Together We Fall features 2 current members of NEXT STEP UP.

In january of 1999, misura entered the studio and recorded the shame of the nation ep. It was released on march 13th 1999 at a show in galloway, nj. They continued to play shows until april 20th 1999, when they took a break to fix some problems within the band. The cd continued to sell and was quickly sold out. SAD ORIGIN
BIOGRAPHY :
SAD ORIGIN started as a band in the Summer of 1996. After the release of their demo they recorded their first digital child which came out on their own label, Inner Belt Records. They wrote harder songs influenced by NYHC and with lots of double bass. They managed to create a sound of their own and soon, their second child was born. The cd was entitled called 'adesiatoe' (Genet Records). They kept evolving musically and, in the making of the new songs they worked with new guitarwork, a piano and the voice of their new bass player. They recorded 4 new songs in the vein of Fury of Five, Length of Time and Irate and those came out on RPP in August 2000 as a split cd with Misura from USA. In the meantime, the Sad Origin members started a new project called Die... My Demon. This new band became soon even more successful than S.O. and today (2003), it's no lie to say that Sad Origin broke up.

NJ BLOODLINE "Be afraid" (mcd)
This band is brutal as hell ! One of the most promising outfits coming out of New Jersey. From old-school to new-school with a slight metal touch and incredible dance parts... It's the release of their demo songs ("Be afraid").
Here is the biographie:
Since 1992 NJ BLOODLINE has terrorized the NJ music scene with their brand of 'musical whoop ass' ! To most they were a God send with their energetic, dancy grooves, and their 'take no shit' attitude. To others they were a nightmare, never conforming either musically or ideologically to the trends in the scene that surrounded them. Aggressive yet cathy, NJ BLOODLINE is one of the most addictive hard-hitting bands New Jersey has ever produced ! No matter how hard the bands around them tried to get, they stayed true to their ethics. You see, they never lost sight of writing a good song. With their long awaited release of 'Be Afraid' on CD, you'll hear what all the hype is about. Whether it's the frustrated sing along in 'Six Feet Deep' or the pure adrenaline rush of 'Fist', NJ BLOODLINE is bound to leave you battered, bruised, and wanting more. Songs like the emotionally charged 'Love Song' strike that universal chord in all of us, while others like 'LETS' delve into the mind of a young man's struggle to survive growing up in the urban circus known as Elizabeth, NJ. Angry and bitter, NJ BLOODLINE has captured the 'true meaning of hard-core' and as a result worldwide acclaim. Their now out of print demo tape version of 'Be Afraid' sold an impressive 3.500 copies globally, all D.I.Y. ! Now teamed up with Alain and RPP records, they are ready to bring the joy and the terror to every living person. You see, for them, musical slaughter is a way of life. Be Afraid... Be Very Afraid !
In 2000 they signed to Kingfisher/Century Media in for a Full Length, Faceless . They lost Rei in early 2000 and became a four piece. The Faceless album was recorded in the summer between tours at The Third Studio From The Sun. In the summer of 2001, they started their tour to support their album. They toured Europe for a month and a half, played the With Full Force and Dour Festivals. They then toured the US for a month.
After they returned from tour their drummer decided to move on. This was Ian's last show with NJBL. It was a benefit show for a long time friend in Kenilworth NJ. Sworn Enemy, Etown(under a disguised name), Shattered Realm and December were among those bands who played. The search for a new drummer did not go very well and Wreak moved out to cali to sing for the Hoods. In the spring of 2002 NJBL was dissolved.
Tracklist:
1. fist
2. six feet deep
3. be afraid
4. love song
5. L.E.T.S.
6. four winds

INNER DAM "When angels fall" (cd)
This great NYHC band is back with a brand new line-up and they're playing shows every week-end. Their 2 CD's, 'When Angels fall' and 'The day everything meant nothing' are still available ! The band will come over to Europe for the very first time in November 99.
-------------------------------
Inner Dam's impact was felt almost immediately upon their formation in late 1995. Meshing old school, new school and straight up heavy metal, the band released a four song 7' on Released Power Productions (Belgium). The 7" on RPP entitled, "Through the Eyes of Suffering" proved to be the first of many releases with RPP. Through word of mouth and constant shows in and out of state, Inner Dam has paid their dues playing with such heavy weight acts such as: Agnostic Front, Napalm Death, H20, Earth Crisis, Breakdown, Killing Time, V.O.D., S.O.D. and many others. 1997 say the band travel to Cambridge Mass to record as Salad Days recording studio with taskmaster Brian McTernan taking on the production duties. The result was six blistering songs that became known as "The Day Everything Meant Nothing" CD (now already in it's third press). In 1998 the band quietly kept plugging away and got themselves on five CD compilations, including Rick TA Life's "Call For Unity 2". By the middle of 1998, Inner Dam forged out three new songs and compilation, demo/7" songs and even a cover song by one of their most influential bands 108 (Killer Of The Soul). Once again on RPP, this ten song endeavor was released as the, "When Angels Fall" CD. Inner Dam toured Europe in November 99 promoting their last EP 'The last second of forever' which featured 3 songs of mature hardcore that appealed to a large audience.

INDECISION "Discography" (cd)
Brooklyn's Indecision (which recorded tons of material that appears on lots of 7"s and compilation CD's) has decided to put out a full CD on RPP compiling all those songs + some previously unreleased material.
-----------------------
Indecision formed in 1993 in Brooklyn, New York. Since then they've released 2 full length cd's, seven 7"s, toured Europe twice and toured the United States countless times. After all the lies, controversy and betrayals, after all the dust settles... Indecision is a hardcore band. Indecision is hardcore for the hard-core. Their songs are for people who know what its like to live paycheck to paycheck. Their songs are for the people who can count their true friends on the fingers of one hand. For the people who can fit all their material possessions into a garbage bag. Indecision has maintained 5 years of relentless obstinacy and integrity to the "norm". They have never bowed down to anyone. They've simply and humbly continued doing what they do best without blinking. Recording, touring. Repeat. Record, tour. Repeat. Indecision defies the odds and creates honest, direct music without any excuses. This CD is a compilation of the early years of Indecision, the first 7"s and compilations. Most of it has become hard to find and sought after collectors items. Most of it is out of print.

ENRAGE "The definitive" (cd)
They're from Staten Island, NY and they're around for quite some time now. They released over the past years many demo tapes, 2 EP's and some of their songs were featured on lots of compilations. Unfortunately, this great band remains too much unknown in Europe. RPP is releasing a full-length CD which features songs from their 'Burning Within' demo as well as some brand new material. This CD shall hopefully bring them the recognition they deserve.

DROWNING "S/t" (mcd)
1998 was the year of big changes for this French band. They have a new singer and a new bass player and they're working hard on the writing of new material. You might know them from their songs on the "French HC document" or on the split ep on Back Ta Basics. Technical brutality, in the vein of All out war meets Merauder, is what you should expect from these Paris dudes!

CRAWLSPACE "Don t get mad...get even !" (mcd)
This band is hailing from Limburg/Belgium. You gotta see Crawlspace on stage to fully capture their power ! They play metallic hardcore very similar to Bulldoze or Fury of V. After the release of their first MCD on RPP, the band got very positive reviews from everywhere and they play shows almost every week.

BURNSIDE "Vision of serenity" (mcd)
BURNSIDE started in November of 1994. The line-up at the time was Mike Vendetti (guitars), Lance Stock (guitars), Arron Haines (bass), Shawn Mclean (drums) and Alex Rivera (vocals). They recorded their first demo (self-titled) in January of 95. Later that year they released their second demo 'Blibis Blobis' after a period of growth. Having more experience and replacing Mike Vendetti with Jon Krell, they self released their third demo in June of 96 'This present darkness'. About a year after the release of that demo, because of differences in the band, Burnside broke up for about 5 months. They always kept in touch and after a new line-up change they released what they called the rebirth of Burnside, a 7" on Gutpunch Records called 'Rebirth' because they were back with a better attitude, better musicians and better songs. A song recorded in 1997 was featured on the South Jersey hardcore comp EP (Gutpunch Records). A song is also featured on the 'Call for unity # 2' comp CD (Back ta Basics). 'Visions of serenity' is the first Burnside CD.
After too fucking long time, i'm finally going to write up about New Jersey's Burnside's only cd release, Visions Of Serenity mcd. I remember noting myself that i should have written something about this shortly after i featured Burnside's Rebirth 7". Those of you who aren't familiar with the band, Burnside was NJ heavy hardcore act, that sounds a bit like mixture of Bulldoze, Five Minute Major and maybe even Terror Zone (Kevone's other band), when thinking about more spiritual lyrical theme on the mcd. Visions Of Serenity was the only cd Burnside would ever got to put out, but it's all solid stuff, a six song record full of that nice old school beatdown sound.
Here's a short quote from my earlier Rebirth 7" post: "NJ's Burnside did release three demos between 1994 and 1996, Self-titled, Blibis Blobis and This Present Darknes, but after the last demo, they broke up for few months because of disagreements inside the band. Hiatus lasted for about five months and after minor line-up changes they got new man helping out to guitar, ready to record their first 7", Rebirth - Jersey Style. This seven inch contained four songs, with a brand new solid lineup going on and Burnside's return was obviously very successfull. Alongside Rebirth 7", they did one track for compilations like, the South Jersey Hardcore Comp. EP (Gutpunch Records) and Call for unity 2. Comp. CD (Back ta Basics). Last of the Burnside line was their one and only ( really phenomenal) Cd, Visions Of Serenity (Release Power Productions (R.P.P))". With that you know some more about Burnside, again. I actually bought South Jersey Hardcore Comp 7" some time ago and Burnside's song off it Frontin' is some nice piece of classic beatdown, too bad i haven't got that USB-turntable yet. But coming back to Visions Of Serenity, mcd features five new songs and How Can I Forgive off Rebirth 7",Gazing Into Tranquility is haunting intro but the real deal starts as soon Betrayed By Humanity kicks in. My personal very favorites off the album are Justice Shall Be Served and already mentioned How Can I Forgive, witch two are probably the best songs Burnside ever made. Burnside remains as one of my favorite New Jersey bands and i'm glad i finally got to write about this album since it's damn difficult to find and is so damn good. (by xMarkusx)
Tracklist:
1. Gazing Into Tranquility
2. Betrayed By Humanity
3. Justice Will Be Served
4. Through Blinded Eyes
5. How Can I Forgive
6. Embracing Delirium

BENEATH THE REMAINS "Quest of the lost souls" (mcd)
The music is so heavy, the vocals are aggressive as fuck.
These songs are even better than before and could be described as a cross between Burnside and All Out War.
-----------------------------
BENEATH THE REMAINS formed in October or November of 1996 and cut their first demo "Roots of chaotic disorder". Their influences run from 50's music to metal, hardcore, to actually anything. The name fits them, to them it beneath the remains of tragedy, death, opinions... Beneath The Remains played with such bands as All out War, Blood 4 blood, Warzone, Hatebreed and older bands like Biohazard, Testament... They also have another demo "Self destruction" which came out in 1997, and 2 seven inches. Their most recent release is the mini CD called "Quest of the lost souls". The cd represents what the band got threw in life to hopefully let people know the outcomes of a wrong path chosen... Beneath The Remains are struggling with their addictions, pain and self pity ... but they brand it on themselves.
Latest news : the band broke up.
