Naiad. formed in March 2001 in Kyoto, Japan. Nearly three months after the inception of the band, they recorded and released their demo tape. The response to this tape was amazing and led them to a 3 way split on 14 ALL RECORDS. The split, containing 3 awesome Japanese hardcore bands was released in spring 2002. This was the last recording with their old singer. Differences in mentality drove him and the band apart and they decided to go each their own way
