Force of Change began in the summer of 2005. The band's sound is a result of influences that include Strife, Buried Alive, Integrity, Turmoil, and others.

After releasing a demo in September of 2005, Force of Change began playing shows throughout the West Coast. Shortly after forming, This Blessing This Curse Records formally released the band's demo in early 2006. After several West Coast weekends and a summer tour, the band excitedly began working on their debut full length for Indecision Records. "The Fire Still Burns" was released in October of 2006 and the band is currently preparing to tour in support of the record.

Following several member changes, Force of Change has solidified a lineup with David Richardson on vocals, Ryan Nelson on guitar, Eric Gregson on bass (Cast In Stone, xDEATHSTARx) Scott Sprigg (Buried Alive, Stand & Fight) on guitar, and Marc Jackson (Throwdown, Bleeding Through) on drums.
