"Burned bridges"
(Mad Mob rds)

» Biography

BUST THE CHAIN is the resurrection of a very old VSHC project originally done in 1997.
Back in those days the band featured members and ex-members of ONLY ATTITUDE COUNTS and also musicans who are nowadays in SPIDER CREW.
BTC was always known around the scene as the lil` brothers of OAC.
Therefore never getting the chance to proove themselves as one of the big dogs among the European Hardcore scene.
The year 2003 showed BUST THE CHAIN in a total different light with a stable line up and the release of the MCD "KING OF FOOLZ" on MAD MOB/ CORE TEX RECORDS.
Finally BTC was a separate band.
Most of the new power came with the charismatic frontman Erik V.B. who added lots of energy to the crazy and unique sound BTC is doing today.

Together with Pete and Roman of PERMANENT STYLE the foundation was set.
Crossing all over from metal influences to the true old Style of Hardcore those guys quickly developed their own unique sound .
Austrian Hardcore legend Mike Crucified on guitar completes the line-up.

2005 will bring the first full length assault of these
Vienna Hardcore veterans.
