"With nothing more than 4 Tracks written , a band-history of only 3 months and still no bass-player ACLYS entered the studio in december 1996 to record their debut 7" for Per Koro Rec. After bass-player Andreas who helped out during the recording of the self titled 7" joined the band, aclys could finally play live. In january 1998 they entered the studio again to record their first full-lenght CD "Helduntergang" also released on Per Koro. The follow-up CD "Liedergeburt" was released on Voice of Life Records. During the France/Spain tour in 2000 bass-player Andreas left the band. Despite lots of gossip ACLYS never really split up although remained quite inactiv due to the band members' personal reasons. 2004 ACLYS are back with their new album "Artefakt" on Burning Season Records.
