Kartel was born in the crumbling back room of a condemned building in deepest South London during the summer of 2002. Founding members Julio, Tom, and Jon linked up with vocalists DBS and PeteBDF to complete the line-up and they started dropping their unique metallic hardcore in and around the London area soon after. The Kartel sound is aggressively brutal yet groovy and truly unmistakable. To date Kartel have released 3 songs on the 'Southbound' cd split with Ninebar and Diction, a song on the 'Time For Some Rucktion' compilation cd, a 5 song demo and 2007 see's the release of thier debut full-length 'Rise Of The Guttersnipe' on Rucktion Records.
