Formed in the summer of 2000, Bleeding Heart is a four-piece brutal metal/hardcore band straight outta Nummela, Finland. Bleeding Heart was born out of the demise of Meant To Last when TimoXXX (now the singer of Field Of Hate) and Tuomas (drummer of Field Of Hate) left the band. The remaining members Jussi (bass), Sakari (vocals) and Asko (guitars) did not have to seek too long for a new drummer. We asked Joonas to join us and he was happy to do it. Slowly we started to write material and play shows and in 2002 we recorded a 2-song promo(sold-out) that included the songs "Deadman Walking" and "Stabbed In the Back" and the promo received good reviews. Since then the songs have been getting on the darker, more violent and metallic side of hardcore with new songs like "Lifeless", "Bloodsoaked Salvation", "Bleed For Me" etc. that have been compared to the likes of Kickback, Irate, All Out War and so on.
